‘Y’ throws open its gym doors

TUMBLING back into action, YMCA NSW (The Y) is excited to reopen doors at six centres across Sydney, including at Revesby, creating opportunities for youth and communities to connect, stay active and reimagine health and wellness goals in the new normal.

Following the NSW Government’s easing of restrictions, doors opened at Revesby on Monday with important new changes in place to help members and staff stay safe.
“The Y know that our communities are busting to get back into our centres because they’re more than just a place to stay fit, they are hubs of community connection,” Y Revesby manager Josh Sorbello said.
“We want to reassure our patrons that these facilities will be following all NSW and Federal health advice with extensive social distancing and hygiene measures in place.
“We were especially excited to welcome our young gymnasts back on Monday, as we know the Y is like a second home for many of them.
“We were jumping through hoops and over obstacles to ensure we’re ready and cannot wait to see everyone.”
Bookings must be made for all group fitness classes and casual gym visits at ymcansw.org.au/make-a-booking.
