Win after $1.5m grant to upgrade Kelso Park

STATE MP for East Hills, Wendy Lindsay, was joined by local Liberal councillors – George Zakhia, Glen Waud, Charlie Ishac and Philip Madirazza (pictured) – to announce a $1.5 million grant for upgrades of the Kelso Park North precinct.

The grant was awarded to Canterbury Bankstown Council to upgrade fields, lighting, storage and amenities for the site to become a multi-purpose facility with an increased footprint.
“Sport is a vital part of the local East Hills community, and I spent many cold mornings in my youth playing softball at Kelso North and I look forward to seeing the project take place,” Mrs Lindsay said.
“The Kelso Park North precinct upgrades will enable local residents in the East Hills area to enjoy the benefits of regular activity and exercise at a top sports facility.”
