PADSTOW Heights Probus has changed its venue and start time, with the next meeting at Padstow RSL on Tuesday, December 3, at 10.30am. REGENTS Park Combined Probus Club will meet at the rear of the Regents Park Library on Monday, November 25, at 1.30pm. Guest speakers will be firefighters talking about ‘Safety in Your Home’. KINGSGROVE RSL will host Carols by Candlelight in the Park and Children’s Christmas Party in Memorial Park, Kingsgrove, on Saturday, November 23, from 6pm. BANKSTOWN City Choir will present its concert, ‘A Christmas Grace,’ at the Georges Hall Community Centre on Sunday, November 24 at 2pm. Admission: $15, adults, $5, child over five. OVER 65? Join Canterbury City Community Centre for free Tai Chi in the Park on Wednesday, November 27, 8am-9am, Jubilee Reserve, Lakemba. Tai Chi practice can improve strength and flexibility as well as decrease the effects of diseases such as arthritis. Wear comfortable clothes and bring water.
