Walk in for on-the-spot Covid-19 vaccinations

PEOPLE aged 12 and over will be able to get on-the-spot Covid-19 vaccinations from today (Wednesday, October 13), as Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Centre welcomes walk-in appointments.

Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines will be available for first and second dose vaccinations. The Pfizer vaccine is available for all people aged over 12 while the AstraZeneca vaccine is available for anyone over 18.
More than more than 320,000 vaccinations have been administered at NSW’s largest vaccination centre – helping western Sydney reach the milestone of 90 per cent first dose vaccinations for people aged 16 and over.
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) chief executive Graeme Loy encouraged anyone eligible to get their second dose, or not yet vaccinated, to come to Qudos Bank Arena where there is free parking and no lengthy queues.
“Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Centre has demonstrated the ability to vaccinate over 15,000 people a day and now even more people will be able to get vaccinated at the centre, quickly, easily and safely,” Mr Loy said.
“I thank the community for getting vaccinated and remind them to get their second dose as soon as they can at Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Centre.”
You must not attend your vaccination if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.
Children aged between 12 and 15 will need to be accompanied by a consenting adult.
Bookings are no longer required. The centre will open seven days a week, 7am-9pm.
