Vote urged for unsung health hero

SHOW your appreciation for Western Sydney’s health heroes by voting in the 2020 Quality Awards People’s Choice Award.

Recognising the staff who have pioneered and delivered a range of innovative health projects making a difference to the lives of people of the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), the People’s Choice award is one of 11 gongs set to be handed out in an online awards ceremony next week.
WSLHD chief executive Graeme Loy said the quality of projects submitted for an award were very impressive especially given an “unprecedented and challenging year with the Covid-19 pandemic” and he encouraged everyone to take a look at the submissions and cast a vote.
“Last year the People’s Choice received more than 17,000 votes and we hope to top that this year,” he said.
Hosted by celebrity MCs Rob Shehadie and Samantha Brett, this year’s award ceremony will be broadcast live on WSLHD Facebook and YouTube channels at 7pm on Wednesday, September 23.
Selected from all 52 award submissions, voting for the People’s Choice Awards closes at 5pm tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16 at wslhd.health.nsw.gov.au.
