Tale of obsession and power of performance

STARRING Bankstown’s Alice Tauv (pictured), two talented females train for Australia’s biggest street dance competition in a tale of love, obsession and the power of performance in ‘Keep Stepping’, one of the offerings in this year’s Sydney Film Festival.

Each young woman dreams to escape the rough hand they’ve been dealt.
Will a win be their golden ticket?
A dancer herself and playing the competition organiser in the film, Alice says the audience will be able to identify with seeing females empowered in a male-dominant culture.
“You’ll get to see all the trials and tribulations but it’s definitely uplifting and inspiring,” she said.
Catch it this Saturday, June 18, at Casuala Powerhouse.
Tickets: $18.50-$22 at sff.org.au.
