WITH two tables inside and four outside, in line with public health orders, Berala Kebab House is starting to get back in full swing and manager Jason Aslan says it’s been great to welcome back everyone.

“We have noticed a lot of people walking around, socialising and having a laugh,” he said.
“Just like the old Berala and we even delivered our first nursing home order on Thursday, a huge pizza made especially for our fans there,” he said.
“That was our first order in months and it’s so fantastic to be back.”
Customers will have more reasons to celebrate catching up with friends and family this summer with two additional Dine & Discover vouchers up for grabs for NSW residents.
Jason said they would be on board with that too.
“Whatever makes life easier for families, we are happy to support,” he said.
Open seven days from 6am, Jason said many of customers were buying for the whole household.
“People order a few kebabs, snack packs and pizzas in one order now just to take home to the family,” he said.
“But more are definitely starting to venture out so it’s wonderful to see.”
Still operating a takeaway service only, Student Biryani manager Muhammad Naveed said they would re-open a ‘dine in’ service once more staff returned to work.
“We are not in a rush,” he said.
All of their favourites are still available, including fried Lahori fish, spicy barramundi, crispy marinated chicken, the signature student biryani rice dish, haleem chicken or beef, a thick lentil and meat stew, beef nehari, a slow-cooked stew of bone marrow, and plenty of vegetarian dishes plus many enticing meal deals.
Student Biryani Auburn is open Monday to Friday, 11am-11pm, and on weekends from 9am to 11pm, while Student Biryani Surry Hills (462-464 Cleveland Street) is open from Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 11pm.
