Swings in to showcase hits of ‘Rat Pack’ legend Sinatra

ONE of the greatest singers of 20th century pop music, ‘Frank Sinatra’ will be crooning his way back into hearts during an extraordinary tribute show at Bankstown Sports Club next month.

Studying Sinatra’s music for many years, Mitch Capone (pictured) has perfected ‘Ol Blue Eyes’ vocal style and phrasing and is proud to present his ‘The Frank Sinatra Experience’ show which covers all the jazz, pop and swing favourites.
During his teen years, Mitch was captivated by the golden era of swing.
He began making guest appearances at local jazz clubs in Newcastle and was invited to appear in concert with the Dungeon Big Band, performing classic tunes of Sinatra and the Rat Pack.
He continued to study Sinatra’s music for many years and hopes fan will be captivated by his portrayal of this legendary performer.
The audience will be treated to classics like New York New York, Strangers in the Night, Come Fly With Me and of course, My Way.
Mitch will deliver two 50-minute sets of Sinatra’s best, backed by his seven-piece band.
He will swing in to The Theatre on Wednesday, September 7, with doors open at 10am.
