Stylish, new apartments in safe, secure, leafy location

STARTING with just a fibro cottage development in 1946, Eventide Homes NSW will next month unveil its latest three-level apartments that have been architecturally designed for retirement living.

The origins of Eventide Homes NSW go back to when a group of independent Christians built the first village at what was then Padstow Park, now Padstow Heights.
Now a not-for-profit company and registered charity, Eventide Homes NSW was established primarily to provide accommodation services to older people in need.
“This ethos continues with some of our properties still set apart for elderly persons in need,” a spokesperson said.
This latest expansion consists of 18 one, two and three-bedroom apartments plus a basement carpark in a secure setting, with lift access to all levels.
It enjoys a wonderful location on the southern end of Canterbury Bankstown just 23km south west of Sydney CBD.
An Independent Living (IL) village, it is conveniently placed in an established residential suburb serviced by major arterial roads and two major railway lines connecting to Sydney CBD and neighbouring suburbs.
The local bus route, 927, stops outside of the village and delivers passengers to Padstow and Padstow station.
A secluded internal open green area with properties located around the perimeter, it offers community living at an affordable price for singles and couples alike.
“We have an active village committee who organise events throughout the year such as outings and days at the village,” the spokesperson said.
“We also like to organise a monthly barbecue often as a fundraiser to a worthy cause.”
