Stones rolling in for tribute show

THE Australian version of one of the biggest rock ‘n’ roll bands in the world, is set to hit the stage in a Rolling Stones tribute show at Canterbury League Club this Saturday.

Stuart Greenwood, aka Mick Jagger and lead singer in this tribute show, says the Rolling Stones are timeless in their appeal but they do not tour regularly in Australia.
“This show provides the hardened and casual fans with a great experience and a sound very close to the real band,” he said.
On the night, there will be plenty of classic hits and favourites including Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, Start Me Up, Honky Tonk Women, Jumpin Jack Flash, Gimme Shelter, Beast Of Burden, Angie, Midnight Rambler and many more.
“Our best song to perform is Jumpin Jack Flash; it’s the quintessential uptempo Stones rocker that everyone knows and is full of adrenaline! It’s sure to get everyone clapping and jumping around,” Stuart said.
Show starts at 8pm. Tickets: $8 at canterbury.com.au
