Police efforts recognised

THEY have been enforcing law for more than 30 years but the hard work and dedication of Inspectors Ricky Agius and Paul Albury and Sergeant Darryl Hawes has never waned.
They were among the many officers (some pictured right) who received recognition at the Campsie Police Area Command Police Medal and Awards earlier this month at Campsie RSL.
Campsie Commander, Superintendent Kerrie Lewis said it was not often police employees got acknowledged for their years of committed service or the outstanding work they did.
“Our annual awards day presents an opportunity to take time out of our busy schedules to reflect on those achievements,” she said.
“It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the important role that families and friends play in supporting our officers.”
