Speeding with toddler in car

POLICE have seized the car of a man who was allegedly travelling at more than 60km above the speed limit in a school zone in Wiley Park last Thursday afternoon.

Bankstown Highway Patrol were conducting speed enforcement duties on King Georges Road, Wiley Park, when they allegedly detected an Audi Q2 station wagon travelling 102km/hr in the 40km/hr school zone about 2.50pm.
The vehicle was stopped and officers spoke to the driver, a 27-year-old man, before they spotted a 12-month-old child sitting in the rear seat.
The Rhodes man was issued an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/hr and his licence was also suspended for six months.
