Shots fired at family home

A teenage girl was injured when a family home was shot up in Guildford early this morning.
Just after 5am (Thursday, July 2), police were called to a home on Woodstock Street, Guildford, following reports shots had been fired.
Cumberland Police attended and established a crime scene which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
Eight people, including six children were home at the time.
A 17-year-old girl sustained a minor laceration from broken glass; however, she did not require medical treatment.
The other occupants were not injured.
A ninth person was in a granny flat at the property and was also not injured.
No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
Police said the the attack was brazen and reckless.
