Seize drugs, cash in Dial-a-Dealer arrest

THREE men from Merrylands, Merrylands West and Holroyd were among six people charged last week as part of ongoing investigations into an alleged criminal syndicate coordinating a “Dial-a-Dealer” drug supply network.

A home at Merrylands was also one of four raided by police who allegedly seized almost 450g of cocaine which has an estimated potential street value of $185,000, MDMA, more than $100,000 cash, four Rolex watches and two extendable batons. The items will all undergo forensic examination.
In September 2017, Strike Force Northrop was established to investigate and target the ongoing supply of cocaine within the Central Metropolitan Region.
A 21-year-old Holroyd man was charged with supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, and not comply with noticed direction – Covid-19, a 28-year-old Merrylands West man was charged with supply prohibited drug (more than commercial quantity), knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, knowingly direct activities of criminal group, and not comply with noticed direction – Covid-19, and a 30-year-old Merrylands man was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (between small and indictable quantity), participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, possess prohibited drug, deal with property proceeds of crime, and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.
Since its inception in 2017, Strike Force Northrop investigators have seized more than 4.1kg of cocaine, 490g of MDMA, 1.1kg of cannabis and more than $1.12 million cash.
Investigations under Strike Force Northrop are ongoing.
