Crews from Bankstown and Chester Hill Fire Stations, NSW Ambulance and NSW Police arrived on scene to standby as a precaution.
After burning off excess fuel the aircraft, with two persons onboard landed safely without incident.
Plane landed safely
Shortly after 1pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to Bankstown Airport after being alerted to an emergency involving a small airborne plane with a landing gear malfunction.
