Dining Out

Perfect dish for hearty appetite

SERVING his customers is the best part of his day, says Nevzat (Nev) Aslan.

The owner of the Berala Kebab House, says they have a great relationship with the community and loves hearing how much people enjoy his food, whether its a quick and tasty snack or a satisfying and affordable meal.
“People know our food is good and fresh and they tell us how much they like it,” he said.
He added that from succulent charcoal chicken dishes, freshly cooked fish and chips, doner and chicken kebabs, through to delicious home-made soups, they have the perfect dish for even the heartiest appetites.
The menu also includes a great range of burgers, pizzas, Turkish pides, home-made range of tasty freshly prepared dips including hummus, baba ganoush, beetroot, garlic, rice pudding, chilli yogurt and Tzatziki.
And for anyone with a sweet tooth, you’ll also be tempted by their homemade baklava.
Nev says their Turkish style breakfast with Turkish salami, egg, olives, pepper cheese, cucumber and tomato, all served with Turkish bread and Turkish tea, remains a firm customer favourite.
For lunch, they also make a delicious fresh homemade gozleme with a choice of cheese and spinach; mince, spinach and cheese; chicken, mushroom and cheese; or get creative and choose your own combination.
“Order by phone and your meal will be ready for you when you arrive,” he said.
