Nominate worthy business for an award win

THE Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Awards are back and after a difficult 12 months, it will be a great opportunity for the community to show their support for local businesses who have been through an unprecedented year due to Covid-19.

Awards organiser and Precedent Productions managing director Steve Loe has called on the community to nominate their favourite businesses.
Vote for your favourite business by heading to the Local Business Awards website, and searching for your favourite business.
Mr Loe said nominating someone for their outstanding service or products was a great way to thank these people who, now more than ever, needed our support.
“As members of the community, we reap the benefits of their efforts, which can make our own lives happier and easier in many ways,” he said.
“Sometimes it’s as simple as a friendly smile and sympathetic ear from the staff in a shop that lifts your spirits when you’re having a bad day. Or it may be a supplier who works tirelessly to ensure an urgent stock delivery reaches you on time.”
Businesses could also self-nominate to show staff how much their efforts were valued.
Nominations for the Awards will open on Monday, May 10 and close on Thursday, June 10, with the winners announced at the Awards Presentation Evening on Wednesday, September 22, at Revesby Workers’ Club.
