New cricket gear for all abilities win

CRICKETERS of all abilities have been decked out with new gear thanks to The Primary Club of Australia giving them a sponsorship boost of $13,000.
Coordinated by Bankstown District Cricket Club Life Member David Clifton since 2014, the all abilities program at Bankstown Memorial Oval, runs under the auspices of the Recreation Sports and Aquatics Club (RSAC), a Bankstown-based charity that provides activities for people with a disability.

The sponsorship has enabled the purchase of new cricket gear for all the RSAC cricket athletes who otherwise rely upon donations from Bankstown District Cricket Club, Bankstown Sports Club or using their NDIS funding.
At the recent presentation, players were provided with new bats, playing shirts, jackets, pads, gloves and helmets – everything they need to take to the field to play cricket.
The Primary Club of Australia founder Rick Glover said they were happy to help.
