Never tasted better

THE beer has been flowing and cash registers ringing, with fully vaccinated residents turning out to celebrate the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Stay at home orders have been lifted and retail, hairdressers, clubs, pubs, cafes, gyms and many other businesses opened for the first time in 106 days after the state hit 70 per cent double vaccination.
Premier Dominic Perrottet said yesterday’s milestone was only possible thanks to the efforts of so many people embracing the public health messages and “just a taste of the freedoms … and if we keep on going, we’ll ensure lockdowns become a thing of the past”.
“The people of NSW have earned this moment setting a cracking pace in getting the jab to protect our communities and businesses who have had such a tough time these past few months,” he said.
