Murder intent charge

A WOMAN has been charged five days after she allegedly drove at two people, hitting and injuring a woman, in Revesby.

It is alleged that the 20-year-old woman drove into the backyard of a home on Lochinvar Road on Saturday, September 12 and deliberately at a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.
The pair moved to avoid the vehicle, however the woman was struck on the legs causing significant foot injuries.
She was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Following an argument and a physical struggle with the uninjured man, the female driver – known to the pair – fled, hitting a fence.
The woman was arrested last Thursday and faces several charges including causing wounding to a person with intent to murder (DV), dangerous driving, driving in a manner dangerous and being an unaccompanied learner.

Hunt over home invasion attack
POLICE are appealing for information after a home invasion in Greenacre left a man with serious head injuries.
Just before 1am on Monday, three men, all wearing face coverings, entered the home and assaulted a male occupant, 36, before fleeing with his mobile phone.
They were seen driving off in a silver Toyota Corolla.
Bankstown Police are investigating and urge anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.

Passenger assaults ride-sharer
A MAN has been charged after allegedly assaulting a ride-share driver in Yagoona early Sunday morning.
Police will allege the 25-year-old passenger was being dropped off at a home on Dutton Street, Yagoona, when he punched the 48-year-old driver and demanded his phone, about 12.15am.
Both men exited the car, before the passenger allegedly pushed the driver to the ground and continued to punch him. He suffered cuts and bruising to his head, face and body and was taken hospital in a stable condition.
The driver then returned to the car and drove away.
Bankstown Police arrested the 25-year-old at the scene and he was charged with aggravated assault with intent to rob and inflict actual bodily harm.

Armed hold-up at supermarket
AN armed robbery at a supermarket in Greenacre on Sunday evening, has left an employee shaken but unhurt.
Just after 5.40pm, an unknown man threatened a male employee with a knife, before fleeing the Boronia Road store with cigarettes.
Police want to speak to a man described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build, with a teardrop tattoo under his right eye.
He was seen leaving the area in a dark coloured Mitsubishi Lancer, which had no registration plate on the front.
