These beautiful, roasted, slightly charred and flavourful stacks of meat are the heart and soul of authentic Turkish cuisine.
Meat that’s past its prime or has stayed too long in the freezer, loses its ability to soak up all the rich marinade flavours as well as its ability to produce a tender, juicy result – never the case at this new eatery where high quality beef is sourced and everything is cooked fresh daily.
Working together in previous restaurants and winning praise from near and far, Yusuf Biyiksiz and his father-in-law Musa Turkay decided to go into business for themselves and bring the true flavours of Turkey to south west Sydney.
Setting up business about two months ago, Yusuf says the response to their kebabs, burgers, gozleme and shish plates has been awesome.
“We’re open seven days from 11am to 11pm, and we already have customers dropping in for lunch and returning later for dinner,” he said.
“It’s great to see and we are very happy our food is going down so well with the locals.”
All halal and featuring chicken or beef, the kebab rolls and share plates also come with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, tabouli, bread and a special, secret sauce to add some zing to your day.
And look no further if you’ve got a craving for Turkish gozleme; these delicious, golden, flat pastries are cooked to order with spinach and feta or various other fillings and are in high demand.
Snack packs, sausage sizzle meals, all flavour combos and delicious hot chips are also on offer.
You can dine in, get take away or order home or office delivery on Uber Eats.
