Many heading to uni, TAFE

THE year 12 cohort at Granville Boys High School have enjoyed successful HSC results for 2019, with many offered the courses of their choice at TAFE and universities.

Congratulations to Sean Logie, the recipient of the 2019 School Distinguished Achievers’ Award. He came first in six subjects including English Extension I at school and set high standards from the beginning of high school and received awards in each year.
He seized every opportunity offered to develop his knowledge and skills during his secondary schooling and demonstrated leadership capacity in many extra curricula programs. He will be undertaking undergraduate studies in Science followed by a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney.
Daniel Hoang, the recipient of school awards for first place in Extension Maths and highly placed in both Ancient History and Chemistry, is pursing studies in the Health Sciences, also, at the University of Sydney.
The school achieved above state average in HSC Music, testament to the strong Creative and Performing Arts Program.
Students have been accepted into a wide range of university courses, however, Construction and the Health Sciences have been popular choices.
