Lewis contract terminated

The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs have terminated the contract of Lachlan Lewis.

Bulldogs Chief Executive, Aaron Warburton said: “After issuing Lachlan a breach notice and following due process regarding his response, the club has decided to part ways with Lachlan, effective immediately.”
The decision comes two weeks after the 25-year-old was stood down pending the outcome of an investigation into an alleged incident.
This is his fourth season at the Bulldogs, where he made 43 appearances with 15 wins and 28 losses, scored six tries and kicked one field goal.
