Less than fortnight to discover Hidden artworks at Rookwood

THERE is less than two weeks to explore and enjoy the amazing Hidden Rookwood Sculptures exhibition.

The annual exhibition, now in its 13th year, features an array of contemporary and traditional art forms against the peaceful backdrop of the historic cemetery, enhanced with curator tours and artists’ talks.
Curator Dr Kath Fries said the exhibition invited the community into a unique setting and foster the contemplation, remembrance and appreciation of art, culture and life.
“Whether you are drawn to the historical significance, personal stories or the evocative sense of place of Rookwood Cemetery, Hidden 2023 promises to be an engaging and reflective event,” she said.
The exhibition, which closes on November 19, features 30 works of art, from vibrant, celebratory pieces to contemplative, thought-provoking installations.
