Only using big, fresh, juicy chicken breasts and homemade beef patties, Dilek – who now runs the eatery alongside daughter Sena – says the burgers along with their salads will fill you up but you can also order them as a meal with chips and a can of drink.
Her chargrilled meats are so popular, in fact, that she has introduced a ‘family board’ which features a variety of traditional cuts including tender lamb chops, chicken wings, chunks of chargrilled chicken, skewers plus mini cheese pides, a range of salads, homemade dips and tasty chips.
“These family boards cost $150 but will feed from four to five people and are excellent value,” she said.
“There is just so much that goes into them and they need to be pre-booked.
“Last weekend, I made four family boards for a birthday party and the customer told me they made the occasion memorable because they were just so delicious.”
All halal and with vegetarian options, other choices include golden gozleme made fresh to order and stuffed with all sorts of tasty fillings – choose from spinach and feta, or spiced beef or lamb, Turkish Pide, shish rolls (Triple Shish includes three skewers of your choice with cabbage, tomato, onion and carrot salad, bread and free garlic dip) and beautiful falafel balls or wraps plus more.
