Job boom for tradespeople

CALLING all tradies and suppliers – over the next 10 years the Government will be investing billions of dollars into Western Sydney infrastructure projects.

With transport, education, cultural and health projects already in the pipeline, now is the time to connect your business to potential opportunities.
Western Sydney Business Connection (WSBC) will be joined by five companies who will share an overview of their upcoming projects at a free online presentation, ‘Connecting to Construction Opportunities’, this Thursday, October 14, 11am-noon.
Companies featured comprise Dynamic Projects (heritage projects); MJH Multi (constructing 40 two-storey homes); Multiplex (needs subcontractors for the new ‘Nancy-Bird Walton Airport’); SD Group (supplier requirements include earthworks, piling, concreting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, fit out, structural steel, metal works and engineering); and Seymour Whyte (subcontractors for the Sydney Gateway Project).
Multiplex Senior Contracts Manager Adrian Galati said: “We are seeking a range of structural and fitout subcontractors to help deliver the Nancy-Bird Walton Airport Terminal.
“We have a dedicated website at www.buildingwsit1.com where subcontractors can view available packages and lodge an expression of interest.”
WSBC CEO Amanda Brisot said: “Amazing opportunities await local businesses who simply need to reach out and be a part of this fantastic future.”
