STRIVING to create better opportunities for those of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, the Indian Squad Women’s Association will be hosting an Australia Day event this Sunday, 4-8pm, at Lakemba Senior Citizens Centre, Lakemba. A rare chance to explore different food, culture, dance, music and costumes, the event will feature a magic show, activities and a sausage sizzle for children and conclude with authentic, Indian sub-continental street food on offer.
