Holiday fun at Sydney Olympic Park

DISCOVERING the joys of bike riding last Tuesday, Lachlan Chang, Jocelyn Chang, Mirtthunjai Gavaskar, Charlene Bordley from Addventageous @ Parramatta Bike hub, which offers affordable cycling programs, and Peter Costa hit the training track at Holroyd Gardens to get experience on the mini set of suburban roads, a roundabout, pedestrian crossing and proper road markings.

THERE’S plenty of school holiday activities on offer at Sydney Olympic Park to keep children’s minds and bodies active this week.

Some of the activities include: Synchronised Swimming on Thursday, October 8; Bricks 4 Kids, Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9; My Hoops Basketball, Wednesday, October 7; Water Polo Clinic, Friday, October 9; Writing workshop, Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9; Gym sports, Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9; Splasher’s playground, Wednesday to Sunday, October 7-11; Water Slide, Wednesday to Sunday, October 7-11; Meet the Rangers – Let’s Go Birding, Wednesday to Saturday, October 7-10; Sharp shooters and Young Archers, Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9; and Laser Tag, Wednesday to Thursday, October 7-8 plus more.

You can also introduce your child to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games experience – and re-live it yourself – via a self-guided tour or virtual tour App.

Why not hire some bikes for the family and discover the treats of Sydney Olympic Park at your own pace.
