Gymgoers keen to shed all covid calories

GYM owners and staff are over the moon at the prospect of seeing their clients again from Monday after the three-month lockdown.

Keen to get their health and sanity back as well as shed the Covid calories, World Gym Chullora’s Adam says 1,000 clients a day have been missing out and his gym will introduce more classes to accommodate the 20-a-class limit. “We’re also keeping our covid marshall from last time so that we can safely operate 24-hours a day,” he said.
“The gym is professionally cleaned twice a day to ensure it’s as safe as possible for our clients.
“We’re just so relieved and thrilled to open up again.”
Snap Fitness Yagoona’s Lamees says clients will come back to a bigger and better gym.
“We have used our time wisely, expanding equipment and doing renovations,” she said.
“Clients have been messaging us the whole time and everyone has been trying to keep as healthy as possible since we have been in a ‘hotspot’.
“Our class average is 15 so limiting classes to 20 is no problem either.”
F45 Condell Park Gym owner Meg has been running five classes a day online and will operate face to face classes on a booking system to ensure class limit compliance.
“We’re definitely excited and can’t wait to see everyone soon,” she said.
