Gear up for walking, cycling safety boost in local CBD

A NEW Action Plan with the potential to transform how community members walk and cycle, is on public exhibition for residents to have a say.

The plan aims to deliver better interconnected walking and cycling networks to the City.
Warren Artlett, who lives in Panania and is president of Bike South West, said there had been a “hunger” to move around the City in safe and healthy ways through cycling.
“We strongly recommend residents encourage the council to make this a reality by having a say on this Plan,” Mr Artlett said.
