Gear up for caravan, camp expo fun

THE Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) will stage its premier three-day Spring show from September 20-22, and will transform the halls of Sydney Showground into a prestigious undercover showroom.

According to CCIA Chief Executive Officer Lyndel Gray, the Expo is expected to attract big crowds keen to gear up for the summer holidays.
“We expect that the Expo’s showcase of top brands, timing, venue and central and easily accessible location will have strong appeal,” she said.
“In addition to an impressive array of major brands of motorhomes, campervans, caravans, camper trailers, accessories and holiday spots, we will have a bustling marketplace, practical demonstrations and lots of family entertainment.
“This year we’ve upped the training and educational components of the Expo because so many people are keen to learn about the practicalities involved.”
Popular celebrity TV chef Fast Ed will be in attendance and conducting cooking demonstrations, and Expo attendees have the chance to win an Isuzu D-MAX Ute or MU-X SUV worth more than $60,000.
Whether you’re a novice camper, or seasoned outdoor enthusiast, you’re sure to learn something new about the camping and caravanning lifestyle in our free daily seminars. There will also be hands-on towing demonstrations, led by one of Australia’s top experts.
Tickets: Adults $15, Concession (Senior/Pensioner) $10 and Child (16 years & under) free.
