Keith Clark usually collects gifts for sick children at Westmead Children’s Hospital after losing a cousin and his Dad to cancer but this year is raising cash instead.
With the barbecues starting at 6.30pm on December 11 and 17 at 17 Stephenson Street, Birrong, Keith promises to cook his suburb-renowned special sausages and lamb and chicken skewers.
“They’re really delicious and there will also be soft drink and water plus music and carolling under the gazebo in the front yard,” he said.
“I’ve got soft lounges for elderly people as well as regular seating and I’m sure my light display will add to the Christmas magic for the kids.”
The barbecue is free but Keith is asking for a small donation for his cash bucket or guests can scan the QR code to donate directly to the hospital.
