Drive-in movie on rooftop

IS your family long overdue for a safe and affordable night out?

In a Sydney first, Lidcombe Shopping Centre is converting its rooftop car park into a drive-in cinema this Saturday, September 26, for the 6.30pm viewing of Lego Movie 2 on the big screen.
Bring the family, grab dinner first at one of the centre’s many cafes or restaurants and for just $25, you can have an amazing, socially distanced, fun night out.
Lidcombe Shopping Centre’s Felicity Kendall said they thought local families would appreciate a night out especially in the safety of their own cars, with the full $25 proceeds being donated to Beyond Blue.
“The latest Beyond Blue statistics have revealed demand for the service has skyrocketed almost 70 per cent in April to June this year compared with the same period last year,” Ms Kendall said.
“So we wanted to come up with a fundraiser that would also be a win for local families.
“This will be the first time we have hosted this kind of family event and we hope to see it well supported so that it may become a regular treat for our customers who will also get to take home a goodie bag of offers from the centre’s retailers.”
