Dining Out

Delicious fare to have you hooked

BATTERED, crumbed or grilled – however you like your seafood, Raw Prawn Fish Market is set to become every seafood lover’s go to destination as it’s already booming after opening only four months ago.

Manager Veena Soobroyen, whose family also own a successful eatery in Riverstone, says the fish cocktails, prawns and special seafood salad are incredibly popular along with the battered oysters to name a few.
“I had been eating natural oysters for 15 years but as soon as I tried a battered oyster I have never gone back to natural,” she said.
“They are just so delicious and well worth trying.”
The Bankstown girl is excited to open a business in her old stomping ground and can’t wait to touch base with more locals.
“I have a small dining in area here and will soon be expanding to alfresco dining as well as introducing more desserts,” she said.
As well as a choice of daily fresh snapper, salmon, barramundi, flathead, leatherjacket or whiting and all halal, there is barbecued or deep fried baby octopus, prawns, oysters, lobster (must pre-order), calamari, crab balls, scallops, crab sticks, fish cakes, garlic chicken balls and cuttlefish balls.
You can also indulge in chiko rolls, spring rolls, vegetable or beef dim sims, hash browns, wedges, chips, sweet potato fries and a range of rolls and burgers, including the traditional beef patty burger.
Salads include Greek, garden, seafood and coleslaw, while anyone with a sweet tooth can finish off with a delicious banana or pineapple fritter.
