Dining Out

Delicious and affordable

FORMER bistro operators at Auburn Tennis Club for 25 years, the Zhou family took over the bistro at Rosnay Golf Club two years ago with father and son, Ray and Wen Zhou, the chef and maitre de, and have never looked back.
Wen says that even during Covid, they operated a takeaway service.
“We had so much local support we were lucky enough to be able to stay open,” he said.
Offering a mix of the best of Chinese and modern Australian favourites, Wen said the all-day $10 Satay Chicken dish would be the most popular as well as the Fish, Chips and Salad, $14, and the Chicken Schnitzel, Chips and Salad, $16.
“Our other all-day, $10 specials are very popular too and include Mongolian Beef, Honey Chicken, Curry Prawns, Chicken and Vegetables, Satay Beef, Beef and Black Bean, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Beef and Vegetables,” Wen said.
There’s also delicious soups, laksa, prawn, beef, chicken, seafood, pork, vegetarian and noodle dishes to sample plus a children’s menu.
You can dine in or opt for alfresco dining on the verandah with the lush, picturesque golfing greens as your view or backdrop.
Open daily, Monday to Friday, 11am-2.30pm and 5-8.30pm, and weekends, 11am-8.30pm, the Rosnay Golf Club Bistro can be found on Uber eats, with the team also specialising in party and function catering.
