Crowd back honouring all ANZAC brave

THOUSANDS of people turned out at local war memorials for the return of dawn services and wreath laying ceremonies to mark ANZAC Day on Monday – two years after the Covid pandemic put a stop to community gatherings.

President of Bankstown RSL Sub Branch, Terry Corcoran, thanked the many people who braved the inclement weather to attend its moving ANZAC Day morning service, while State MP Bankstown, Tania Mihailuk (pictured), said it was great to see our community back in large numbers across our ANZAC services.
