Introducing a fresh concept, customers are able to design and transform a blank canvas into their own splendid creation in a three-step, build-your-own-cake experience.
The Baking Factory’s operations manager Fatimah Omran heads a team of internationally trained pastry chefs and says the store has over 4,000 Instagram followers after opening only last Thursday.
“It’s such a beautiful store, all pink, with giant donuts and macaroons, a photo wall with a podium and very playful and pretty decor,” Ms Omran said.
“Customers are saying this is like another world in Punchbowl, it looks like it belongs in the QVB.
“Our pre-designed cakes are created by our artisans using fresh ingredients and will help any event become a timeless memory.”
Some of these include the Loaded Chocolate, White Bridal, Rainbow Unicorn, Garden Floral, Lilly Lolly, Citrus Explosion, Cookie Milkshake and the Ruby Fruit, a red velvet sponge filled with tangy cream cheese frosting, drizzled with their signature salted caramel sauce and finished off with a circle of seasonal fruits and edible flowers.
A range of other desserts and sweets are also available but change daily.
“Our decadent cupcakes, baked fresh daily, are made using the finest and freshest ingredients,” Ms Omran said.
“We create flavour fusions that are sure to delight, making our delicious sweets, desserts and cakes a great choice for any occasion.”
