Confidence on move

TEARING his hair out, Kelvin Gadd had been without his mobility scooter for months and although under warranty, he had just discovered he had to get it to Queensland for repairs.

The 76-year-old didn’t know what he was going to do and then a friend suggested he contact Sam Chidiac of MCS Mobility in Merrylands.
“After meeting Sam, I didn’t look back,” he said.
“I’ve done 7,000km on my new scooter in the last 12 months; if there’s a problem, Sam turns up and fixes it or he takes away the scooter, repairs it and drops it back all free of charge.”
Using the scooter for everything – catching the train, shopping, doctor and going to the pool six days a week, Mr Gadd can’t walk more than about 10 metres without getting out of breath.
“A reliable scooter is a Godsend and so is Sam. He’s got everything you could need at his store. He got me sorted with a hospital bed which was a $1,000 cheaper than the other suppliers, and is also supplying me with a chair recliner.
“The thing about Sam is that he won’t sell it to you unless he thinks it will benefit you and then supplies wonderful after-sales service.
“He’s become a great friend to so many and is just so knowledgeable when it comes to mobility products and information.”
