Charged over sexual act, not having ticket on train

AN Auburn man has been charged after allegedly committing a sexual act on a train last month.

On May 13, an 18-year-old woman boarded a west-bound train at Parramatta Station at 8am, when a man allegedly sat down opposite her before exposing himself and committing a sexual act.
The woman left the train at Blacktown and police were notified.
Following an investigation, officers from the Police Transport Command arrested a 37-year-old man at the intersection of Church and Campbell streets in Parramatta on Thursday, May 28.
He was charged with carry out sexual act with another without consent and travel or attempt travel without valid ticket.

Man, 67, struck by car
A 67-YEAR-OLD man suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious condition after being hit by a car in Granville on Thursday evening.
He was allegedly attempting to cross Mimosa Street near Clyde Street at 6.50pm when he was struck by the car which was driven by a 48-year-old man.
Both men were taken to Westmead Hospital, with the driver undergoing mandatory tests.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command are investigating.
