Celebrating 100th in style

FORMER Polish folk dancer Krystyna Jankowska has celebrated her 100th birthday with friends, family and staff at Abel Tasman Village in Waldron Road, Chester Hill.

A resident at Abel Tasman since 2010, Mrs Jankowska migrated to Australia in the 1960s.
She enjoys dancing and is a great animal lover, with her cat companion seen regularly following her around the village.
“In her long life, Mrs Jankowska has faced many challenges but is happily settled at Abel Tasman and enjoys all the activities on offer including a wonderful birthday celebration,” a village spokesperson said.
State MP for Bankstown, Tania Mihailuik also dropped in to wish her happy birthday.
Abel Tasman Village enjoys a great reputation for providing quality care and services in both residential aged care and as a provider of homecare services.
