Brush up skill at Coolaburoo class

LEARNING how to get creative with mosaics is just one of half a dozen education and outreach activities on offer for adults at the Coolaburoo Neighbourhood Centre in Padstow each week.

Mosaics teacher Terry Cook has been running the classes for about four years and says they are always plenty of fun.
Other programs include Pink Hammers, which focuses on basic skills in home maintenance such as fixing leaking taps, repairing holes on the walls, creaky doors, painting and gardening; soap and candle making; cooking classes; sewing; and haberdashery including crochet, knitting and embroidery.
Coolaburoo is a not for profit community organisation servicing the needs of the local community with a range of support groups, projects, programs, activities, resources, counselling, information and referrals.
