Blossoming in aged care

RFBI Roselands Masonic Retirement Village opened its doors and welcomed the community to join the team for a day full of fun activities and delicious food last week.

Every year, RFBI Villages invite local community members to experience first-hand the wonderful care they provide and discover what aged care is really like today.

General Manager Attie Cheng said it was a lovely day with residents and their families attending – “a great turnout”.
The team also celebrated the wonderful gardening skills of their retirement residents and announced the winners of the Spring Garden Festival where the first prize winner won a trophy, certificate, Bunnings voucher and gift hamper.

Also there on the day was RFBI’s Client Services Coordinator, Uma Mohan, who works closely with retirement living residents, ensuring they live comfortably and are happy in their home.
“We have been conducting the Spring Garden competition for many years and our residents put in a lot of effort and hard work to make their gardens spectacular. Well done to all who gave it a great go,” Ms Mohan said.
