He won a five-year place at Italy’s leading cooking school as a young man and then went on to run the hugely successful Ascoli Piceno in Rome before re-locating down under.
Judged to have the best wood-fired pizza in Sydney in 2005, Daniel draws on his experience but is always coming up with great ideas to keep his menu fresh and exciting.
“My goal is always to provide a place where people can meet, relax and grow their relationships over evenings sharing authentic Italian cuisine,” he says.
“The casual dining ambience offers an experience that is high on value with top quality fresh food, inspired by Italian flavours.”
You can choose from a delicious array of antipasti, a huge range of pizzas and pastas, and mains plus blackboard specials such as delicious zucchini chips with sea salt, Rosemary and buffalo cheese stracciatella; squid ink spaghetti seafood mix, prawn and crab ravioli with white wine calamari sauce; classic Italian style grilled seafood platter including scampi, prawns, calamari, fish and scallops with roast potatoes and salad; classic steak tartare with panko crumbed Italian fried cheese; salmon carpaccio; and seared ribeye steak with red wine jus and roast potatoes just to name a few.
Along with a children’s menu, there is also an amazing range of sides, salads and desserts like tiramisu, panna cotta (coconut with pineapple and mint), chocolate or lemon lime cheesecake, gelato (including multi-flavoured Italian or apple pie, coffee and almond crunch) or white chocolate and mixed berry tart, with everything made in-house from scratch and using only fresh, high quality ingredients.
Fully licensed with local and imported craft beer available, Daniel says UberEats orders are now available.
“We open daily at 5.30pm but for functions and banquet catering, welcome lunchtime bookings, especially on the weekend,” Daniel added. “We’re very flexible and can host parties to cater for any budget or palate too.”
