Best German cuisine showcase

WITH a revamped interior and a refreshed menu, Bankstown Sports is thrilled to welcome you back to the new and improved Helmut’s Haus.

Showcasing the best in German cuisine, prepare to be transported to a modern Bavarian experience complete with steins of house brewed Helles Lager and a Tyrolean hat to get the party started.
The deliciously satisfying menu features Beef Goulash and a selection of different schnitzels as well as Berliner Chicken Schnitzel Burger, Crispy Pork Knuckle, Smoked Pork Ribs and a tasting plate from The German Butcher.
Be sure to leave room for something sweet; the Authentic Apple Strudel served warm with vanilla sauce and ice cream is unforgettable.
But the fun does not stop there, the team at Helmut’s Haus has crafted an array of beverages to complement our favourite German dishes.
The Little Taste of Haus is a standout with Weiss Obstler Apple and Pear Schnapps shaken with Absolut Citron, Joseph Cartron elderflower liqueur and passionfruit pulp.
Sarah Hanslow has headed the chef team in Basement Brewhouse since 2016 and paved the way for the venue to achieve excellence.
As a young chef, she has now stepped up as Helmut’s Haus Head Chef.
“I am thrilled to be taking on the next challenge of my career,” she said.
“Having travelled to Germany in 2018, I am inspired to bring an authentic Bavarian experience to Bankstown Sports.”
