Dining Out

Best destination for home dining

BANKSTOWN Central is your destination for at-home dining this winter with more than a dozen of the community’s favourite brands now reopened, following the easing of restrictions across NSW.

If the looming chill is keeping your family indoors, Bankstown Central’s Call & Collect Via Drive Thru may be the answer.
The new, contactless Call & Collect Via Drive Thru program has been delivered in response to government regulations and on the back of health advice.
Call & Collect Via Drive Thru allows customers to pre-order takeaway food from several of Bankstown Central’s most popular retailers (check website for participating stores), which can then be collected without leaving your car in the underground carpark near Woolies or near the Coffee Club entrance.

Centre manager Anthony Wilson said: “It’s important for our team to consider new ways to support our retailers during these unprecedented and challenging times, and we needed to think quickly.
“We wanted to ensure we kept as many local jobs as we could, to boost the economy, while also providing customers with convenience and adhering to the latest advice and recommendations from our state and federal health authorities.”
Reflecting the multicultural community, Bankstown Central offers an array of cuisines for every meal of the day, whether the preference be Middle Eastern, Asian or Mexican, the centre has it covered.
Restaurants and cafes that are open are adhering to government guidelines, including: Up to 50 people, abiding by distancing guidelines; no groups larger than 10; call ahead to make a reservation; the Food Court remains takeaway only; and customers must be seated.
Whether it be breakfast and a coffee, morning tea, lunch or something for later in the day, Bankstown Central has the variety and the options to ensure your family is eating well through Covid-19.
