Amazon delivers local jobs

Amazon Australia has established a new distribution hub in Regents Park, bringing with it almost 30 new jobs.
The Regents Park Delivery Station will serve as a new pick up point for Amazon Flex delivery partners, “enabling Amazon to better service customers in Sydney’s West”.
A spokesperson said the new station has also created hundreds of flexible earning opportunities for Sydney-siders through its innovative delivery program Amazon Flex, which was launched in Sydney in January, with hundreds of individuals now signed up as delivery partners, earning extra money in their free time delivering Amazon packages to customers.
Director of Operations Amazon Australia Craig Fuller said the new Delivery Station will enable the company to speed up delivery for customers in Western Sydney and they look forward to being an active member of the community.
Cumberland Mayor Steve Christou: “This is great news for our residents and customers who are using these services in Sydney’s west and we’re delighted that such a major company like Amazon, would choose to call Regents Park its new home for its distribution services”.
