Comic showcase on where you can meet creative best

ASHFIELD Library will celebrate the best of comic culture by staying open late to host comic book artists, creators, illustrators, writers and publishers at Comic Con-versation 2019, with Artists’ Alley open from 5pm, this Saturday, July 13.

Offering a series of events, workshops, panel sessions and exhibitions for children and adults, it will also give fans the chance to see comic creators at work.
On show will be The Pieces Project exhibition, a graphic novel with a Guinness World Record – it’s a one of a kind collaborative comic book involving over 200 international artists.
In the Comics and Memoirs workshop, author Sandra Broman will explain why comics can be an excellent medium for memoirs.
