Some of the world’s best badminton players will battle it out at Quaycentre Sydney Olympic Park in the Crown Group Australian Badminton Open.

BADMINTON fans are in for a treat with a world-class field to battle it out in Sydney in the lead-up to the Tokyo2020 Olympics.

The Crown Group Australian Badminton Open 2019 will see some of the world’s best players compete for glory for five days of intense bouts from today (June 4) at Quaycentre Sydney Olympic Park.
Tournament director, Loke Poh Wong said spectators could expect to see the best at their best and they won’t be disappointed.
“We are looking forward to welcoming reigning men’s doubles All England champions and twice former World Champs Hendra Setiawan and Mohammad Ahsan from Indonesia; former Australian Superseries winners Lee Yong Dae and Yoo Yeon Seong from Korea, and from China, former Olympic champions Lin Dan, Li Xuerui, and Zhang Nan plus current All England champions Chen Yufei, Jia Yifan and Chen Qingchen.”
Crown Group CEO Paul Sathio says that as a badminton enthusiast, he is thrilled with the player line-up this year and encourages all badminton fans to book their seats.
