As part of the package, the council is also calling on residents to take a more active role in supporting and caring for the vulnerable and most in need in our community.
It’s compiling a list of people that are interested in helping other community members in the near future.
“These may be people like your grandmother, an elderly neighbour, those with mobility issues or those who may be self-isolating, anyone who needs a little more help just to get through their day,” he said.
“We can all play a part in doing the little things, like helping a neighbour go to the shops, or picking up their groceries or medicines.”
