Village streets getting sleepier

IT was a rare sight during the normally busy lunchtime rush on Selems Parade at Revesby today (Thursday), with a choice of carpark spots available and hardly any shoppers on the streets or waiting outside popular eateries to pick up lunch.


The banks were noticeably quieter too, along with the newsagent – no doubt a sign that more residents are taking precautions seriously in the new coronaverse, staying at home and not venturing into shopping villages unless for essential items or business.
